Wrong Choices

Sign near Lakeshore Yacht Club, Toronto

We have all taken a wrong turn in our lives at one time or another and that is OK.

When we made those decisions, no matter the eventual outcome, they were the right ones to make at that time in our lives.

I am sure that if we look back for a minute, we will see that without those wrong choices we would not be who we are today.

We learn from the good, we learn from the bad.

Our journey through life would not be complete without the things we regret.

    No truer words spoken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You truly hit the nail on the head. Without the wrong choices in our past, we would not have learned “that” particular lesson or grown in “that” particular area of our personality.

Whether we barely make it through the circumstance or prance through it like a thoroughbred horse is irrelevant. As long as we “get through it” with the lesson learned, we are in the right state of mind.

The hard part for me is that I am surrounded by people who expect me to be everything all the time and the bar they set is perfection. It has caused me to be way to hard on myself and I never give myself credit or slack. Then, of course, guilt for “doing it wrong” sets in, so it is a never ending cycle. However, I think I have made headway lately and rather me be the “uncomfortable” person, those that are so accusatory are squirming.

FYI I do like the photos in this post too, but the words really resonated with me :o)
