Those of you who have been reading my posts will know that I have recently started to meditate.

So far I have tried a couple of techniques to reach a state of meditation. I have practiced methods such as focussing on my breathing and concentrating on key words. I have also tried meditating while listening to soft music.

When I first thought of meditation, I viewed it as way of relaxation, as a method to put the mind at peace. But now I also see meditation as a path to contentment.

You see, during one of my meditation session I was having difficulty concentrating, so I decided to transport myself to a good place, to a good memory.

The first thing that came to mind was my uncle’s orchard. It was beautiful and deliciously filled with blueberries, raspberries and strawberries.
