Poetic Creative Process

Writing poetry is a way through which I leave this world.

When I write poetry, my mind becomes immersed in the creative process, my attention held in a lyrical trance, and my imagination filled with words in captivating soundscapes.

I wonder if other creative individuals enjoy a similar experience.

I find the creative process fascinating, mostly because I don’t quite know how it happens. In this state of mind, good ideas coalesce from thin air. The mind works at multiple levels, some of which we are not fully aware. I find it spellbinding and a bit humbling.
