Golden Light

Queen's Quay Terminal viewed from Polson Pier, Toronto 2011-05-21

I am very attracted to golden light. The view of the Toronto waterfront was captured on an early morning shoot when the sun started to illuminate the city and made Queen’s Quay Terminal shine like gold.

As a small boy growing up in a village called Hualqui in rural Chile, I often imagined the city I would one day call home; this city would have helicopters, towers, and a sky line that would shine like gold. Back then, I had no idea I would end up in Toronto, a city I now call home.

Have a look at Toronto with its helicopters, tower and skyline in golden light.

Really nice cityscapes. I love those times where you can place the horizon dead center of your shot and it just WORKS. Really cool man!
